About the Journal
International Journal of Minerals
International Journal of Mineral is a peer-reviewed online journal launched in 2024 that aims to publish high-quality research articles, reviews, and letters in the field of mineralogy, geochemistry, petrology, and mineral exploration. The journal is dedicated to providing a platform for researchers, scientists, academics, and industry professionals to disseminate their findings, innovations, and insights in the mineral sciences. The journal promotes open and rigorous scientific discourse, and encourages the submission of high-quality manuscripts that are well-supported by data and that adhere to ethical and professional standards of research.
Focus & Scope
- Mineralogy and crystal chemistry: mineral classification and identification, crystal structure and symmetry, crystal chemistry and solid solutions, crystal growth and morphology, structural defects, polymorphism, mineral thermodynamics and stability, and mineral formation and evolution.
