TDD is a painless method of systemic drug delivery that involves applying a drug formulation to healthy, undamaged skin. Without building up in the dermal layer, the drug first passes through the stratum corneum and then deeper layers of the epidermis and dermis.

Without building up in the dermal layer, the drug first passes through the stratum corneum and then deeper layers of the epidermis and dermis. Additionally, the new spray drying technique's applicability to longer-chain phospholipids with modified spray drying temperatures was assessed.
