Special Issue Description
Dear Collegues,
Study of how various media, including soil, sediment, water, air, living creatures, and nutrition, combine- To better understand how soil is formed and distributed, as well as its biological, chemical, and physical characteristics and processes, as well as how these interact with other systems, soil science is studied. Such information is then used to guide environmental protection, economics, and environmental sustainability. In other words, the action of bacteria, fungi, algae, and plants, the bioremediation process involves removing, altering, immobilizing, or detoxifying different compounds and physical contaminants from the environment.
Negative environmental effects have resulted from soil contamination with potentially hazardous elements and potentially toxic elements (PTEs). Regarding the kind of component, soil, and replacement, immobilization effectiveness, mechanisms underlying, and field application, we explored the remediation of PTEs-contaminated soils by immobilization strategies employing various soil amendments in this review. As immobilizing agents for PTEs, a variety of soil additives are frequently used, including manure, compost, charcoal, clay minerals, phosphoric complexes, coal bottom ash, and liming materials.

Manuscript Submission information
Manuscripts should be submitted online by registering and logging in to this link. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.
Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent on email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
