        Special Issue Description

        This special issue focuses on additive manufacturing (AM) for design and prototyping applications. AM, also known as 3D printing, has revolutionized the way products are designed and prototyped, offering new possibilities for customization, rapid iteration, and design optimization. This special issue invites original research articles, reviews, and case studies that highlight the latest advances in AM technologies, materials, and processes for design and prototyping applications. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share their latest findings and insights into the use of AM for design and prototyping, to advance the state-of-the-art in this field.
