Special Issue Description

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death for thousands of people worldwide. The advancement of information technology and bioinformatics have revolutionized cancer diagnosis, identification, and prevention, as well as the search for a long-term solution. Image processing techniques are used as a cancer treatment aid for identifying cancer cells from specific medical images. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) and pattern recognition are used for determining the potential of cancer occurrence, the possibility of occurrence, and how genetic information is involved in rapid cancer diagnosis. This study examines how bioinformatics uses its various approaches, particularly image processing and NGS, and how those methods are implemented for various cancer types. See how these various methods are used for faster cancer detection, prevention, and diagnosis.

Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the manuscript Engine. Once you register on APID, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline.
All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers).
