The hip is one of the biggest weight-bearing joints in our body. It comprises two parts specifically, a ball (femoral head) at the best of our thighbone (femur) and it fits into an adjusted attachment (acetabulum) in our pelvis. A band of tissues called tendons interface the ball to the attachment and give solidness to the joint.
