About the Journal

International Journal of Town Planning and Management (IJTPM) is a peer-reviewed hybrid open-access journal launched in 2015. Town planning focuses on the planning and design of new buildings, roads, and parks to enhance the livability and functionality of urban and rural environments. The goal of town planning is to meet the needs of future generations while preventing haphazard growth. Urban planning, also known as regional, town, city, or rural planning, involves the development and design of land use and built environments, including critical infrastructure such as transportation, communication, and distribution networks. It is an interdisciplinary field integrating planning, architecture, surveying, landscape architecture, and construction engineering to address global land resource management challenges.
