Abstract

Every day, countless people globally depend on public transportation for their daily journeys to work and school. It’s crucial to prioritize efforts towards ensuring their travel is convenient and stress-free. We see a lot of people face a lot of problems due to the delay of buses and due to the inefficient space on the buses. It’s high time we overcome these and get a system that will help us overcome these problems. This technical paper will give us a solution to these problems. The suggested approach for this would be to use an IoT- based application, which can track the location of the bus, estimate time for arrival, number of empty seats, advanced booking of seats, and more. By implementing such a system, we can significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of public transportation, providing commuters with a seamless and comfortable travel experience. Furthermore, this technological advancement holds the promise of alleviating congestion, reducing waiting times, and enhancing overall passenger satisfaction.
