The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share their latest findings and insights into the use of sustainable and eco-friendly design and manufacturing practices, intending to advance the state-of-the-art in this field.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a Double-blind peer-review process.
