Paracetamol, a widely used analgesic and antipyretic, has been studied for its potential effects on the male reproductive system. Paracetamol is a medication commonly used to relieve mild to moderate pain. Research suggests that prolonged or high-dose use of paracetamol may adversely affect male fertility by disrupting hormone regulation, impairing sperm production, and reducing testosterone levels. Studies have shown that paracetamol can interfere with the hypothalamic- pituitary-gonadal axis, leading to changes in testicular function, sperm count, motility, and morphology. Additionally, oxidative stress and alterations in enzymatic activity in the testes have been observed. While the exact mechanisms remain unclear, it is recommended that caution be exercised regarding prolonged or excessive use of paracetamol, especially in individuals concerned about fertility. To completely comprehend its long-term implications on male reproductive health, more research is required.

Keywords: Paracetamol, testes, sperm abnormalities, hormones, Acetaminophen.
