STM Journals utilizes advertising as a tool to promote its diverse array of scholarly Journals and to facilitate the scientific community's access to relevant academic content. This policy applies to all advertising activities undertaken by STM Journals to promote its publications, including but not limited to online advertisements, print media, collaborations with academic institutions, and participation in scholarly events.

  • To promote academic/ scientific products and services of sponsors.
  • To promote the products of the advertisers to the relevant audience.
  • All advertisements on our website will adhere to our existing privacy policy.

Content Guidelines

All contents for advertisements are reviewed by the STM Team and the relevant department responsible for the advertising channel regarding their suitability.

  • All advertisements should be relevant to academic publishing, scientific research, the target audience, and the channel in which they are organized.
  • All advertisements and sponsors should be affiliated with research (fields, tools, products, events) and academia (institutions, societies). Nonacademic or commercial consumer-grade products are not accepted.
  • Any controversial, political or obscene content is prohibited.
  • Communication within each advertisement needs to be clear and readable.

Conflict of Interest

  • Advertisements will not influence editorial decisions, and our editors and reviewers will operate independently of advertising sales.
  • Disclosure policies are in place to handle potential conflicts of interest that advertisements could pose to our editorial content.

Complaints and Violations

Users may report any concerns or violations of this Advertising Policy through our designated complaint handling process. Complaints will be investigated promptly and resolved in accordance with our commitment to integrity and transparency.

STM Journals values feedback from our academic community regarding our advertising practices.
